As you may or may not know I love all things 40s/50s/60s but mostly 40s and that goes for the history aswell as the fashion. So here is a little shoot I did for an outfit that is inspired by the 1940s, enjoy!

Cape Top

I bought this peter pan collar, cape top off eBay for about £6 and even though it is pink I must say I do quite like it! Here I'm just wearing it with some vintage floral leggings but I'd like to experiment and see what other outfits I can create with it.

Nothing feels better than blood on blood

Sometimes my outfits are a bit more like I'm dressing up, I think its just because I see things like this dress and this vintage washer woman scarf/hat thing and it just reminds me so much of something that I can't not put it together! Its just a bit whimsical and fun plus I like retro/ vintage stuff. I'd never seen one of these washer woman scarf/hats to buy anywhere before so I just had to buy it!

We'd seen each other in a dream

This is my Mum's blouse that she used to wear for funerals before she gave it to me. I really like the material & the gold button at the top, I think it is a really nice detail especially if I'm wearing a more vintage outfit or wearing it with another item with gold buttons/ details like this cute fitted jacket.
